Diagonal Seed Stitch Baby Blanket Knitting Pattern

This easy, modern baby blanket knitting pattern creates a stunning fabric of diagonal seed stitch stripes on a stockinette stitch background.  If you're a new knitter, then you'll be happy to hear that the pattern only requires that you can knit and purl - no other special techniques required.  And since this blanket is knit with a worsted weight yarn, it builds up quickly too!

• 5 skeins (1090 yards) Knit Picks Brava Tweed Worsted Weight Yarn; Colour: Heron.
• US size 10/6mm circular knitting needles (32” cord).
• Scissors.
• Tapestry/yarn needle (for weaving in ends).
